We look towards Sustainability

We have introduced new self-propelled machines in the quarry, some of which are electric, all equipped with the latest generation of filters.

In order to better satisfy our customers and reduce environmental impact, we use numerically controlled machinery in the laboratory that guarantees extraordinary results, low energy consumption, and less material waste.

By cutting the marble with precision, the excess material becomes easily reusable.

A recent and very interesting example is the reuse of Cristallina marble excess from the production of marble columns (see a project of a Private Villa) for the current exhibition of the famous Mexican artist Jose Dàvila at the Centro Internazionale di Scultura (CIS) in Peccia.

Another example is the reuse of excess marble to produce granules, gravel, and sand, products that are often requested by landscape architects but also by gardeners and private individuals, in particular to create the much-loved Zen gardens.

We also use filtering purifiers with a closed circuit of 2’000 L/minute, allowing the reuse of water resources required by natural stone processing plants.

It should not be forgotten that being an ecological and natural material, marble is also an edible material.  In fact, it is ground and given to the chickens to facilitate the formation of the shell of their eggs.
